About the opportunity

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping Nosto’s Commerce Experience Platform. You’ll lead major technical initiatives, drive innovation, and mentor team members as we scale our solutions. This role involves full-stack development, including infrastructure, backend, frontend, and AI-powered research, with an emphasis on the backend software engineering.

Your Impact:

• Develop and optimize scalable AI-driven personalization features.
• Design and maintain high-performance APIs for a high-volume, data-driven platform.
• Architect and implement robust, scalable infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to support the team’s growth.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers in an agile, sprint-based process.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability by following DevOps best practices.

Required skills and experience

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Software Engineer
• Proficiency in Java and Node.js, building scalable and maintainable applications
• Some experience with frontend development using TypeScript and frameworks like React or Vue.js
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• A strong drive for continuous learning and self-improvement
• Cooperation and knowledge-sharing skills
• Analytical mindset and desire to walk the extra mile to troubleshoot daunting challenges.
